Same problem, when I record xnee closes completely. Xnee-3.10.90-1.1.fc16.x86_64
Created attachment 539481 [details] $ gnee Terminal output.
DiEOrLivE: The last attachement (2011-12-01 21:26:20 EST) seem to belong to Xnee 3.10.90 (btw, I really should add a printout of the version number in the log file). You're also saying (2011-12-01 21:25:10 EST) that you test 3.10.90. I think that 3.10.91 is fixing the bug. Can you test that version? Thanks for all your work :)
Created attachment 540082 [details] Terminal output. Sorry... Same problem with Xnee-3.10.91-1.fc16.x86_64
Trying to find the problem. What X are you running? Fedora version?
Fedora release 16 (Verne) 3.1.2-1.fc16.x86_64 xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.11.2-3.fc16.x86_64 OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD JUNIPER OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.11.2
It is working (cnee and gnee) here. I am also on Fedora 16 and same X. Odd... X info: version number: 11.0 vendor string: Fedora Project vendor release number: 11102000 xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.11.2-3.fc16.x86_64 Xnee version: CVS Head xnee-3.10.91 Fedora: Fedora release 16 (Verne) Can you describe how you tested Xnee? Here's what I did cnee ========================================== cnee recording: ------------------------------------------ cnee --record --mouse -o hesa.xns -sk q cnee replaying: ------------------------------------------ cnee --replay -f hesa.xns -fcr (the last option is to force replaying with core events only) gnee ========================================== gnee recording: ------------------------------------------ in the "Record settings" tab, choose "KeyPress, KeyRelease, ButtonPredd, ButtonRelease, MotionNotify" click record gnee replay ------------------------------------------ click replay gnee replay with (cnee recorded) file: ------------------------------------------ in the "Replay settings" tab, choose file hesa.xns click replay
Works on Fedora, 15 and 16. DiEOrLivE: could it be that you record nothing (i e you do not choose any events from the "Record settings")? If so, Xnee records nothing for quite a while :( I will start working on a patch for this straight away.
If that's the problem, then this will solve it: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/xnee/xnee-3.10.92.tar.gz
Uerh.... use this instead: ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/xnee/xnee-3.10.93.tar.gz
