"sh updmap_edit tmp2.small" hangs after printing a malloc error. The corruption is caused by clean_state_log_if_needed. glibc-rh757881.patch was added long time ago. It's touching a critical piece of code, glibc-malloc. And it should be rechecked, and sent to upstream. Or dropped from fedora.
