Description Kars de Jong 2002-10-14 13:16:06 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020830

Description of problem:
Evolution seems to use galeon for opening URLs, except for its help pages.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on an URL in a mail message or in the Summary folder.

Actual Results: The URL is opened with Galeon, even though the default web
browser is set to 'htmlview' for everything else.

Expected Results: It should have used htmlview and opened (in my case) mozilla.

Additional info:

I have everything setup to use mozilla, both using
gnome-default-applications-properties to setup the default web browser and when
using htmlview.

Comment 1 Jeremy Katz 2002-10-14 14:24:51 UTC
evolution just uses the url opening functionality provided by gnome-libs

Comment 2 Havoc Pennington 2002-10-14 14:34:17 UTC
If you did an upgrade you have to edit Galeon out of ~/.gnome/Gnome

Comment 3 Kars de Jong 2002-10-15 06:51:24 UTC
Whoops. That's was it I guess. Thanks :)
