Description Nick Coghlan 2011-12-01 01:00:08 UTC
The Pulp plugins are currently just downloading raw file data directly to disk - they aren't updating the relevant metadata in the Pulp repositories, neither to note which trees have been synchronised, nor to properly record the results of the sync operations.

This is just a matter of making the appropriate calls into the Pulp conduit API, although some of those APIs aren't completely stable yet.

This may also require some refactoring of the tree synchronisation algorithms, likely by adding some callback parameters to the sync commands (one for this issue and one for bz#758914).

Marking all remaining PulpDist issues as CLOSED-EOL

It doesn't make sense to leave these issues open, as PulpDist hasn't been in active development for quite some time, and restarting development would involve a significant modernisation effort that would likely render many of these requests irrelevant.
