Description Christian González 2011-12-06 19:05:19 UTC
rabbitvcs-nautilus does not work in nautilus for plattform Fedora 16 x86_64.

Fedora 16 x86_64, rabbitvcs-nautilus-0.14.2.1-3.fc16.x86_64

How reproducible:
sudo yum install rabbitvcs-nautilus
reboot your nautilus

Comment 1 Adrin Jalali 2012-02-22 04:35:45 UTC
Even rebooting your system does not work.
There are some pages suggesting some symbolic links for python and nautilus, which did not work for me.

Also rabbitvcs-gedit is not working.

Comment 2 Johan Wiklund 2012-02-24 12:27:43 UTC
According to rabbitVCS homepage (http://blog.rabbitvcs.org/archives/318) the latest release (0.15.0.5) seems to be needed to have it to work in Gnome 3.
Maybe time to update the rabbitvcs packages in the Fedora repository.

Hi,

I took the liberty to prepare updated packages. The f16/x86_64 version can be downloaded from my fedorapeople page:
http://belegdol.fedorapeople.org/rabbitvcs/
gedit plugin seems not to work, but the nautilus one working fine for me. Feel free to apply.

Comment 4 Johan Wiklund 2012-03-12 09:37:56 UTC
Hi,

I installed the rpm's Julian prepared, and the Nautilus plugin works fine for me as well. I haven't tried the other ones (gedit, etc.). I definitely prefer this
version compared to the current (broken) 64-bit version in Fedora 16.

Comment 5 Guillaume Kulakowski 2012-04-16 17:54:43 UTC
@Julian Sikorski > Have you contact the owner of the package ? The package is orphan ? Can you update the fedora package ?

Comment 6 Julian Sikorski 2012-04-21 09:25:21 UTC
According to the pkgdb the package is not orphaned. I have not contacted the owner yet.
The thing is that upstream was not too alive last time I checked so it did not warrant pushing to take over the package.
