Issues can be outlined as below

* CIFS export from samba the finder application "drag and drop" fails to
work with return error code -36.
* CIFS export from command line copying and file manipulation works.
* NFS export from MacOSx file creation by normal users give "Invalid
Argument". But root works properly.

Please find below the link which helps understand turning off named streams would help us avoid "perm" error problems.
