Description of problem: It would be nice if cumin shows somewhere supported browsers. My suggestions are: a) login page http://cumin-host:port/login.html b) about page http://cumin-host:port/about.html Another alternative could be check if currently used browser is supported. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cumin-0.1.5098-2 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open cumin web and try to find information about suported browsers Actual results: Cumin doesn't show supported browsers. Expected results: Cumin shows supported browsers. Additional info:
This has been added to revision 5254 on trunk. I have seeded the list with the following browsers, but I'm open to adjustments. Firefox 3.6+ Internet Explorer 7+ Chrome 5.0+ Safari 5+
I have updated the browser list to: Firefox 10 Internet Explorer 8 Safari 5 Available in revision 5344 (trunk)
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: Cause: It was not obvious or otherwise documented which browsers are supported for cumin. Consequence: Users could have difficulty and/or submit bugs against cumin using unsupported browsers. Change: Added the list of currently supported browsers to the "about" page in cumin. Result: The list of officially supported browsers is now clearly stated.
Updated on trunk revision 5647.
Verified on RHEL5, RHEL6, both i386 and x86_64, with cumin-0.1.5648-1
