Hi. It is impossible to paste anything with 'paste' context menu on xfce desktop. This menu is always disabled. Can you apply a patch to add this feature? You can get the patch on https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3804 . I've tested it for Fedora 16. It works fine!
We can look at carrying this patch. It would of course be better if it was upstreamed. ;) Thanks for the pointer.
This landed in the 4.9.x branch... Do you think it's worth backporting to 4.8? Or can you wait on this until 4.10 is out?
Yes. I still use Fedora 15 and 16. Also I think it will useful for other users. Realy this unrealeased feature looks like a bug. Furthemore backporting this is not a difficult task, how I think.
I think it's too late on f15 (it goes end of life pretty soon), but I will push an update for f16 and f17... please test them. ;)
