This seems to have something to do with the Json included lens in augeas-0.10 (f16) versus the one in augeas-0.9 (el6).

I did the following against each:

augtool> rm /augeas/load/*
augtool> set /augeas/load/Json/lens Json.lns
augtool> set /augeas/load/Json/incl /etc/imagefactory/imagefactory.conf
augtool> load
augtool> ls /files/etc/imagefactory/imagefactory.conf/dict/

Under f16, there is no output because the load does not work.

However, if I copy json.aug from el6 overtop of the one provided under f16, the load works properly (and in turn aeolus-configure executes as expected).  I'm attaching the el6 version of the lens.  The workaround is to use this version at /usr/share/augeas/lenses/dist/json.aug.

EL6 version of JSON lens

Replace /usr/share/augeas/lenses/dist/json.aug under F16 with for a workaround

I have filed a bug against augeas upstream:

https://fedorahosted.org/augeas/ticket/249

In the meantime we can work around this issue by rearranging the default config file shipped in imagefactory so that the last value is a string instead of a number.  The version in master would work, however the version in 1.0.0rc2 will not.

Please install the updated augeas-libs and verify that it corrects the issue for you.
