Description Robert Kief 2011-12-26 18:27:04 UTC
Description of problem (Dump provided by the Details button on the SELinux Alert Browser window):

SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/boinc_client from read access on the fifo_file fifo_file.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that boinc_client should be allowed read access on the fifo_file fifo_file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep boinc_client /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Additional info: I am unable to use the Report Bug feature on the SELinux Alert Browser window. The button does not function now. Probably associated with ongoing SELinux/BOINC issues.

Comment 1 Robert Kief 2011-12-26 18:55:02 UTC
I have selected Ignore on all of the SELinux bugs I reported this morning to prevent the SELinux error icon from appearing constantly. Errors are appearing at a very rapid rate on this bug and my H/D is being beaten to death.
