I performed a custom install. During the install, I selected the entry for the PS/2 Microsoft Intellimouse. When I initially tried to start X-windows, my mouse cursor zipped off to the upper right hand corner of the screen. No matter how vigorously I moved the mouse it would very rapidly return to the upper right hand corner of the screen. I had to manually change the Protocol value in the Pointer section of the /etc/X11/XF86Config file from "PS/2" to "IMPS/2" to get X windows to work. The install should have handled this configuration issue. This is related to Knowledge Base request 209, but I think that this is a legitimate install issue. It took me several hours to figure this out.
This issue is resolved in the latest installer from RawHide.
