Description Corey Welton 2012-01-12 14:12:34 UTC
Description of problem:

If user tries to add packages to system template that start with uppercase letters, said packages do not show up in the filtered results returned.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sync RH content
2. Create a new system template, "fibble".
3. For purposes of comparison, in the left pane, navigate down to Packages in RH content.
4. In the right pane, Navigate to fibble > Packages
5. Enter "E" in the search box.
6. Delete that, and instead enter "C" in the search box.

Actual results:
For "E", packages such as e2fsprogs-* show up, but packages like ElectricFence do not.
For "C", packages such as "c-ares" show up, but packages like ConsoleKit do not

Also note that the search does not appear to differentiate between entering "E" and "e" - if that should even matter.

Expected results:

We should be able to retrieve/add packages to system templates that start with capital letters.

Additional info:

Comment 1 Mike McCune 2012-01-17 23:31:08 UTC
definitely should be case insensitive for our searches

Comment 2 Mike McCune 2012-01-26 19:39:22 UTC
mass move to CFSE product.

Comment 3 Brad Buckingham 2012-02-06 20:47:21 UTC
Updated the index settings for package search to support case-insensitive searching.

With this change, the auto-complete will attempt to find case-insensitive matches based on what user types in (e.g. consolekit == Consolekit == ConsoleKit ...etc).

Comment 4 Corey Welton 2012-02-21 18:32:57 UTC
QA Verified.

Comment 6 Mike McCune 2013-08-16 18:24:33 UTC
getting rid of 6.0.0 version since that doesn't exist
