Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because
the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

katello-debug-20120112092857.tar.gz
Description of problem:
After importing a Red Hat Manifest, enabling, syncing and promoting repositories ... any attempts to add packages to a system template fail.
I'm familiar with typing the package name ... and katello will auto-complete the package name. That does not appear to be happening.
Additionally, selected [Add] from a package on the left view pane has no affect.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
* candlepin-0.5.8-1.el6.src.rpm
* katello-0.1.174-2.el6.src.rpm
* katello-certs-tools-1.0.1-2.el6.src.rpm
* katello-cli-0.1.34-2.el6.src.rpm
* katello-configure-0.1.52-2.el6.src.rpm
* katello-httpd-ssl-key-pair-1.0-1.src.rpm
* katello-qpid-broker-key-pair-1.0-1.src.rpm
* katello-trusted-ssl-cert-1.0-1.src.rpm
* pulp-0.0.256-1.el6.src.rpm
How reproducible:
3 / 3 attempts. I appear to be the only one seeing this, so it could entirely be something specific to my workflow/system
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import Red Hat provider manifest (updatedOctoberManifest.zip)
2. Enable RHEL-6.2 Server RPMS and Optional RPMS
3. Add a custom provider for Cloud Engine, along with 3 repositories (puddle, brew-candidate and vmware-tools).
4. Sync
5. Create a system template that includes the CloudEngine and Red Hat provider products and repos
6. Attempt to add packages to the system template
Actual results:
* Auto-completion doesn't appear to work ... and clicking add next to a package name does not work
Expected results:
* Auto-completion, or manual selection of a package on the left-view pane, does not add the desire package to the system template.
