Using F16 with GNOME 3.2 i can lower brightness on gnome-control-center (using g-s-d) to the minimum or to other levels. But if i try to lower the brightness level using FN keys i can only change one level of brightness. So i assume this is a bug on Xorg since it manages FN keys and not on GNOME.
