The compatibility API in 5.0.6 appears to be broken when including ucd-snmp/snmp_impl.h: I get errors during the PHP build now like: In file included from /usr/include/net-snmp/library/snmp_impl.h:39, from /usr/include/ucd-snmp/snmp_impl.h:3, from /usr/src/build/164000-i386/BUILD/php-4.2.2/ext/snmp/snmp.c:65: /usr/include/net-snmp/types.h:11:2: #error "Please include <net-snmp/net-snmp-config.h> before this file" (with -DUCD_COMPATIBLE passed to the compiler) This didn't happen in version 5.0.1.

Does this work again? I've seen newer php packages being built and no indication that a patch for php was needed. Read ya, Phil
It compiles OK, yes (though I've had reports it doesn't work correctly).
Hm... I'd say we close it for now. If there is a real application bug later (no compile time bug) i'd say we open a new one for that then. Read ya, Phil
