From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 Galeon/1.2.6 (X11; Linux i686; U;) Gecko/20020830

Description of problem:
RHL 8.0 installer will exit with a KeyError if the kickstart file requests 24
bit depth for its X configuration. A traceback can't be made; the installer
simply exits and the system begins its shutdown.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try the kickstart config I will attach.

This works for me with the recent Beta - which video card do you have?

Comment 3 Gordon Messmer 2003-03-05 03:13:42 UTC
I believe we tried on several Matrox cards, and possibly something else. The
error message indicated that there was a key missing in the anaconda code. If
it works now, then I guess the bug can be closed. :)
