There is JON plugin to monitor and manage the ESB component . Look at JON plugin to jbpm management.

Hi Mark , This is already done in jbpm 4.x code base : http://processdevelopments.blogspot.com/2009/09/jopr-plugin-for-jbpm.html .  
We can see how to integrate it in the SOA  5.x in the next step.
