This was a firefox bug with SVG images that have "floating point dimensions", ie 230.134 pixels 

The programmers guide was still pointing at an old version of the image.

I've updated the book to use the correct image.

It's back - was there a rebuild of the doc?

I was wondering about that since when you posted it as verified I'd only updated the source and was in the process of republishing the doc on the server.

Part of the original bug was that refreshing the page would update the image & magically "fix" it, until you visited the page again.

Can you check it again please,  might want to clear your browser cache before hand, just in case  :-)
