An error arises when using the BPEL editor to check validation. A variable initializer throws NPE when WSDL is renamed. As a result, users who rename objects within the BPEL editor may find that they do not validate.

JBIDE-6911 has been resolved for JBDS 4.0 Beta1

The issue is still present for partner WS WSDLs. To reproduce use the same steps (just rename the partner WS WSDL not the process WSDL).

Evidently Bob's initial fix was a band-aid and he's continuing to do work in this area. He's still working on validation and refactoring issues.

This is a nice to have for SOA 5.1.0 to support a feature that will be in Technical Preview.
