Description Len DiMaggio 2011-02-24 18:00:47 UTC
project_key: SOA

This task is related to the Windows ODBC driver - SOA-2935

The task is to verify the Solaris native driver - for Solaris-resident clients. The SOA-P server does not have to be run on Solaris for this task.

The testing should be automated with: http://www.unixodbc.org/

A change request to the 5.1 PRD will be created to define the test requirements.

Comment 3 Paul Nittel 2011-05-03 18:03:02 UTC
At present, I am not able to test this driver on Solaris 10. When I try to use isql I get the following error: [IM005][unixODBC][Driver Manager]Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_DBC failed

Hopefully I'll be able to get past this soon.

Comment 4 Paul Nittel 2011-05-09 19:38:06 UTC
Lest we forget and go down this path again, we are NOT supporting Solaris 9 for this release. Maybe forever?

Next up is testing Solaris 10 X86 to see if isql works correctly in that configuration.

I assume this is not an issue to be recorded in the Release Notes - setting to requires_doc_text- accordingly.

Comment 11 Anne-Louise Tangring 2013-12-04 00:10:02 UTC
Please verify the Solaris driver provided by Mladen. Thanks.
