Doesn't hang the system or anything... but when the system tries to bring the card up at boot (or any other) time, it fails with a 'device or resource busy' message. H/W - Dual Athlon 1800 on Asus A7m266 m/b Installed from CD - Redhat 8.0 After loading the modules for the card manually and 'network restart,' 'ifconfig eth0 up,' and reboots, upon attempting to bring the eth0 interface up, it failed with a 'device or resource busy' error. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Reboot the PC 2.network restart 3. # ifconfig eth0 down # ifconfig eth0 up Actual Results: The interface goes down normally on shutdowns or net. restarts. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
