Description of problem: I have 2 Monitors enabled. When I start LibreOffice the splashscreen is centred between the two monitors. I think it is disadvantageous, because it looks not very nice, when the splashscreen is splitted between the two monitors. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 16 How reproducible: everytime Steps to Reproduce: 1. connect 2 monitors 2. don't activate the clone-mode for the monitors 3. start LibreOffice Actual results: The splashscreen of LibreOffice is centred between the 2 monitors (splitted between the monitors) Expected results: The splashscreen should appear only on that monitor (only on one monitor), where the application is afterwards displayed. Additional info: It's not a bug, it's cosmetic design.
Suspect this is a LibreOffice problem - haven't seen any other reports of Mutter placing things over the crack between monitors.
Yes, the (new) splash screen did not take into account xinerama info. It is definitely fixed in 3.5 and possibly in 3.4.5 . The fix is relatively simple so I will backport it if it is not.
