Description of Problem: Several times whilst trying to install beta 1 from CD on a Dell Inspiron 3500 laptop, the kernel froze (couldn't vtswitch). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): beta 1 How Reproducible: 100% - after six attempts I gave up Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot beta 1 CD with 'linux text' 2. Follow instructions. ;-)
Incidentally, it wasn't just the keyboard---I saw a freeze in the middle of a package update.

It wasn't on in the first place, as far as I could tell from the BIOS screen.
Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists.
