Description of problem:
Use --name to bring back the permission, and all permissions are retrieved.

# ipa permission-find --name=ManageUser1
brings back all permissions.

# ipa permission-find ManageUser1

1. add a permission
2. find it using

Just that permission is listed

Using ipa-server-2.2.0-101.20120209T0933zgit52cf9d9.el6.x86_64
I see the error below:
# ipa permission-find --name ManageUser1 
ipa: ERROR: overlapping arguments and options: ['cn']

And ManageUser1 is available:
# ipa permission-show ManageUser1 
  Permission name: ManageUser1
  Permissions: write
  Attributes: carlicense, description
  Type: user
