I get the kickstart file created message the boom. I get the crash dump. Actual Results: I still get the crash Expected Results: successfull install Additional info: I pulled non-compaq memory out and ran install w 24Mb ram from compaq in text mode .
I am able to succesfully install RH8.0 in text mode with 24Mb of ram. Even though Bios was able to detect and run with 48Mb ram, redhat was not able to access the memory bank for some unknown reason. please see if you can find out anything.
