Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Kedar Bidarkar 2012-01-31 15:15:57 UTC
Description of problem:

While adding RH Repositories to a system template it displays all the repositories available, instead of the enabled repositories.

via CLI,katello repo list command displays only the enabled repositories.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
when trying to add repos to system template via UI, entire list of repos present in the subscription-manifest is displayed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. import subscription manifest
2. enabled any 2 repositories
3. proceed to sys template creation
4. All the repos present in the subscription manifest are visible

Actual results:
On searching under the System_template-> repositories,
the entire repo list is displayed.

Expected results:
Only the repos enabled for sync needs to be listed.

To clarify, this is during the Autocomplete when you do:

1) create template
2) click into the repositories on the *right* pane
3) click into the repository search text box and hit "R" for example, you see *ALL* the repos.

I definitely saw this.

Comment 3 Mike McCune 2012-02-09 00:45:12 UTC
tried to attach a screenshot but my browser makes the auto-complete dialog go away when the screenshot dialog comes up.

commit - cdfef6edfdef5577115072ded904f08bc786c475

Updated the search filter used to retrieve the repos to only include enabled repos.

# VERIFIED

Procedure of showing available RH repositories is fixed.

Now in both: left and right panels *only* the enabled ones are listed.
