Description of problem: It would be useful to have time-stamp at the beginning of yellow banner after performing task in cumin. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cumin-0.1.5192-1.el6.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Grid - Submissions - Submit Job 2. Yellow banner: 'Submit job 'test-job': OK' Actual results: 'Submit job 'test-job': OK' Expected results: Either 'YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss Submit job 'test-job': OK Or 'hh:mm:ss Submit job 'test-job': OK Additional info: When we do several tasks, it is very useful if we can see in yellow banner log also time-stamps.
The timestamp has been added to the display as of revision 5220 on trunk.
Extra fix applied in revision 5221
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: Cause: The notifications in the yellow banner would persist until dismissed, but gave no indication of when they originally showed-up. Consequence: The notifications could be confusing or otherwise less than useful if you did not know when they originated. Change: Each message now has a timestamp that displays the time of the notification in the banner. Result: The notifications in the banner now provide the time which can be useful when tracking down problems.
I verified on RHEL5 and RHEL6, both i386 and x86_64, with cumin-0.1.5572-1
