Description Kevin Sonney 2002-11-30 19:09:19 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021003
MultiZilla/v1.1.22

Description of problem:
This is a request for the ability to tile & cascade windows, similar to the way
Explorer does it on the Microsoft platform.

This is a "nice to have" feature kind of thing - when one ahs a *LOT* of windows
open, it can get a bit haphazard. Tile & Cascade don't have to be smart about
rodering, just place things in semi-sane manner with identical size & shapes.
Plus former Micrsoft users expect similar behavior.

Agreed, this feature is tracked
as http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62721

Closing on Red Hat level, as I handle all feature requests in
bugzilla.gnome.org
