Description of problem: in an updated Fedora 16, the "plugin" part of loggerhead is out of sync with the shipping bzr version, it needs to match the version of bzrlib. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): bzr-2.4.2-1.fc16.x86_64 loggerhead-1.18.1-1.fc16.noarch How reproducible: $ bzr plugins ... loggerhead (failed to load) ** Unable to load plugin 'loggerhead'. It requested API version (2, 3, 0) of module <module 'bzrlib' from '/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/bzrlib/__init__.pyc'> but the minimum exported version is (2, 4, 0), and the maximum is (2, 4, 2) $ rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/bzrlib/__init__.pyc bzr-2.4.2-1.fc16.x86_64
Ugh. Looks like upstream doesn't have a release out that corresponds to the new bzr api version. I'll look into packaging a snapshot.
loggerhead-1.18.1-3.20120207bzr467.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/loggerhead-1.18.1-3.20120207bzr467.fc16
this works for me. presumably the same issue applies to rawhide - with the extra step that current rawhide has bzr 2.5.0 so yet another api step.
Thanks for mentioning that -- mass branching happened yesterday and my build in master went to f18 instead of f17. F17 build now as well: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=3773199
