Comment 1 Josh Boyer 2012-02-08 14:34:18 UTC
Is there a specific kernel this doesn't work with?

Did a previous kernel work?

Is there anything in dmesg when you try to adjust brightness?

What does /sys/class/backlight contain?

We need as many details as possible to even begin working on this and your bug report is sorely lacking.

> Is there a specific kernel this doesn't work with?

No, it standard Fedora PAE kernel. (3.2.3-2.fc16.i686.PAE)

> Did a previous kernel work?

I tried 3.2.2 and 3.2.1 kernels without any success.

> Is there anything in dmesg when you try to adjust brightness?

This update is a significant rebase from the previous version.

Please retest with this kernel, and let us know if your problem has been fixed.

In the event that you have upgraded to a newer release and the bug you reported
is still present, please change the version field to the newest release you have
