Description Nicolas Mailhot 2012-02-11 12:27:56 UTC
amavisd needs a systemd unit
it's one of the two services not converted yet on my system

even clamav has a systemd unit now (I had to convert because the sysv clamav chain was not working too well anymore)

ln -sf /lib/systemd/system/clamd@.service /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/clamd

(though there may be a cleaner way to express this dep if amavisd had its own unit file)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

amavisd-new-2.6.6-2.fc17.noarch
clamav-0.97.3-1703.fc17.x86_64
clamav-data-empty-0.97.3-1703.fc17.noarch
clamav-filesystem-0.97.3-1703.fc17.noarch
clamav-lib-0.97.3-1703.fc17.x86_64
clamav-server-0.97.3-1703.fc17.x86_64
clamav-server-systemd-0.97.3-1703.fc17.noarch
clamav-update-0.97.3-1703.fc17.x86_64
systemd-42-1.fc17.x86_64

Comment 1 Nicolas Mailhot 2012-02-11 12:30:39 UTC
/etc/init.d/clamd.amavisd: line 7: /usr/share/clamav/clamd-wrapper: No such file or directory

Comment 2 Nicolas Mailhot 2012-02-11 12:36:59 UTC
also even if using the clamav systemd unit fixes clamav startup something is still broken

 clamd[3637]: /var/spool/amavisd/tmp/amavis-20120211T120007-01177/parts/p002: Can't create temporary directory ERROR

Comment 3 Marcela Mašláňová 2012-03-29 12:30:43 UTC
Would you mind if I close it as a clone of 695589 or 695597? I was looking at it, but I'm afraid to push units (as provenpackager) in those bugs without further testing.

Comment 4 Nicolas Mailhot 2012-03-29 16:09:49 UTC
Feel free to close/clone as long as the unit gets done

Comment 5 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 17:41:57 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
