Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 791111
RFE: It would be better if TUI can fill the full screen.
Last modified: 2014-01-21 14:15:23 EST
Description of problem: RHEV-H 6.3: It would be better if TUI can fill the full screen. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhev-hypervisor6-6.3-20120215.0.el6 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. TUI install RHEV-H. 2. Login RHEV-H. 3. Actual results: RHEV-H 6.3 TUI doesn't fill all the screen. Expected results: RHEV-H 6.3: It would be better if TUI can fill the full screen. Additional info:
Created attachment 562437 [details] fill screen
There is no such issue in rhev-hypervisor6-6.2-20120209.0.el6_2. So it is a regression bug.
Created attachment 562487 [details] 6.2 image Ignoring color on the attached screenshot, 6.2 does the exact same thing as 6.3. This is intentional to make it work on a standard sized terminal screen. Making all of this dynamic is not a simple task to fill the screen, while desirable, is not a simple task technically.
This bug would only impact the hypervisor deployment guides in layered products, not general virt guides
Test version: rhev-hypervisor6-6.5-20131017.0 ovirt-node-3.0.1-4.el6.noarch The new TUI can fill the full screen in both basic mode and regular mode. So the bug was fixed, change bug status to VERIFIED.
