This is an kernel issue.
This is likely an issue with the apic code -- does the system boot with noapic? Also, could you provide all boot messages for the failed boot? Thanks.

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists.
