Doc Type: Bug Fix
Doc Text:
JON did not detect JBoss Enterprise Portal Platform as an altered JBoss Enterprise Application Platform. This caused the admin-console to not display metrics about the portal, and only display basic operating system information. The fix corrects JON to recognize the portal as a altered application platform. Metrics available for JBoss Enterprise Application Platform are now available for Enterprise Portal Platform.

This is a known issue with JON 3.0 and it should be addressed in JON 3.0.1. Related Bugzilla ticket: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=771201

Reopening because a change in JON 3.0.1 may break this up, we may need to rollback

Comment 10 Thomas Heute 2012-04-03 07:02:33 UTC
Technical note is wrong.

The issue is that the JBoss console does display metrics about itself.

Cause: JON doesn't detect EPP as an altered EAP

Consequence: The JBoss console does display metrics about EPP beside the OS infromations.

Fix: JON has been corrected to recognize EPP and so display the same metrics as available in EAP.

Consequence: The admin console is usable again.
