Red Hat Product Errata RHSA-2002:291 0 high SHIPPED_LIVE Moderate: ethereal security update 2003-02-07 05:00:00 UTC

Description Mark J. Cox 2002-12-12 11:54:48 UTC
The BGP dissector in Ethereal 0.9.7 and earlier versions can
go into an infinite loop when trying to process a malformed
message. This problem was discovered by Silvio Cesare.
Malformed packets could cause crashes in the LMP, PPP, and TDS
dissectors in 0.9.7 and earlier versions."
