Description Tom McKay 2012-02-20 14:21:09 UTC
Description of problem:

For bonus pools (those created when a host consumes a pool and generates a new pool for a guest), it would be very useful to include information about the parent pool in addition to the source entitlement.

Currently, a bonus pool will have sourceEntitlement set w/ the id and href of the entitlement. To avoid having to make further api calls it would be great to have:
1) pool id of the source of the bonus
2) system id of the host that generated the bonus pool

This would let UIs and other tools "roll up" information about available pools.

Tom,

I am adding the pool ID of the source pool now. For the second part of the request though, I think you can just use the requires_host pool attribute. Let me know if that's not matching up the way you'd expect and we can look into it more.
