Comment 1 Roman Melihhov 2012-02-25 21:36:13 UTC
crashes with new kernel-3.2.7-1.fc16.x86_64. I don't wanna risk end up dead computer. Switching grub back to live-cd default kernel kernel-3.1.0-7.fc16.x86_64 it is only stable working release so far, all others crashed. What on earth is so good about kernel-3.1.0-7.fc16.x86_64 that its successors lacking?

Comment 2 Adam Jackson 2012-05-23 19:51:05 UTC
This smells a lot like a suspend/hibernate issue in i915 code where we didn't freeze the console, which means the blinking cursor would write garbage to arbitrary memory locations. Should be fixed in kernel-3.3.7-1.fc16 and later.
