Description Peter Mihaly Avramucz 2012-03-01 11:45:07 UTC
Description of problem:
LibreOffice crashed when opening a .doc or .xls file: splash screen loads, windows loads, but (I think) import fails. Opening the same files from a running LO also makes it crash.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.4.5.2-5 crashed, but 3.4.5.2-1 not so I suspect there must be some modification that produces this issue.

Attaching coredump.

looks to me that there is something busted with your install actually, e.g. broken library. I suggest http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora_Draft_Documentation/0.1/html/RPM_Guide/ch04s04.html e.g. as root what's the output of

rpm -V libreoffice-core

?

Comment 3 Peter Mihaly Avramucz 2012-03-01 14:10:36 UTC
Actually reinstalling LibreOffice solved the problem (so yes my installation was scattered up somehow...).
I will close it as notabug.
