Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 799684
php 5.4 is FTBFS on ARM
Last modified: 2012-03-09 21:09:22 EST
5.4.0-rc6 built fine on ARM. The later releases including 5.4.0 gold release doesn't.
Can you please check the libzip version available in ARM buildtree ?
sincy RC8, we are using system libzip.
Can you please check the content of the multi-arch support header
I have copied this file from the MySQL one.
It seems it need to be fixed for ARM.

Not sure what you mean, we use upstream packages without changes. We also don't have multilib requirements on ARM
Please read the linked file (which is on fedora RPM)
If this file is not aware of ARM, it will not find the zipconf_xxx.h, so will not define the LIBZIP_VERSION.
So it's a libzip RPM issue, not a php one.
libzip-0.10-2.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17.
Thanks, that fixed php and number of other packages that depended on libzip
