This bug is created as a clone of upstream ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/ticket/1220 As discussed in the thread starting at https://fedorahosted.org/pipermail/sssd-devel/2012-February/008712.html it would be helpful for administrators if there would be a tool to query user, group, and domain information from SSSD. I will file separate tickets per suggested features for the tool.
