No problem, please do take sqlite2 for EPEL. Btw, my generic response for EPEL requests is here:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL/ContributorStatusNo

"alexlan - feel free to any of my packages for EPEL; though I ask that you add me as a comaintainer."

Basically, I'm happy for anybody to take the EPEL package, but it's good to keep me as a co-maintainer so I can sometimes help synchronize with Fedora releases and/or upstreams.

Alex, do you have any idea for the segmentation fault on ppc64 at RHEL 6?

Nope, not really (haven't rebuilt sqlite2 for ages, I think I picked it up because it was needed as a dep for something else, but that package no longer needs it). Can you reproduce it in a local build (e.g. using mock?)

Package sqlite2-2.8.17-8.el6:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing sqlite2-2.8.17-8.el6'
as soon as you are able to.
Please go to the following url:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2012-0851/sqlite2-2.8.17-8.el6
then log in and leave karma (feedback).
