Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 807774
SAM installation guide contains wrong repository information for SAM package installation
Last modified: 2014-06-18 03:29:07 EDT
Description of problem:
In SAM installation guide, chapter-2, 2.2. Installing from the Repository is specified to add "rhel-x86_64-server-optional-6" channel before starting installation of packages required for SAM setup as following:
# rhn-channel --add --channel=rhel-x86_64-server-optional-6
As per my tests, it is required to subscribe system with this "sam-rhel-x86_64-server-6-htb" child channel in order to perform further installation of SAM packages and for same, command should be improved as following:
# rhn-channel --add --channel=sam-rhel-x86_64-server-6-htb
So need to improve SAM installation guide for same.
