Description of problem:
The 'Stretch Icon' option does not work for the Trash icon on the Gnome desktop

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.right click on Trash icon
2.select 'Stretch Icon' from menu
3.try to stretch or shrink icon
    
Actual results:
nothing happens

Expected results:
icon should expand or shrink like the 'User's Home' and 'Start Here' icons

Very strange. This works for me, with the latest version of nautilus.

Still does in rawhide.
