Expected results: foo.wav should have sound recorded. Additional info: Internal Mic works perfectly on 3.2.10-3.fc16.x86_64. The issue is with kernel-3.3.0-4.fc16.x86_64 only. Attaching dmesg from both kernels Please let me know if you need more details ....

The issue still exists in 3.3.0-8.fc16.x86_64
