Description Julian C. Dunn 2012-04-04 23:14:22 UTC
Spec URL: http://jdunn.fedorapeople.org/perl-WWW-Shorten/perl-WWW-Shorten.spec
SRPM URL: http://jdunn.fedorapeople.org/perl-WWW-Shorten/perl-WWW-Shorten-3.02-1.fc18.src.rpm
Description: A unified interface to various URL shortening services on the web, such as TinyURL or makeashorterlink.com.

rpmlint is clean, except for the following:

perl-WWW-Shorten.noarch: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US makeashorterlin
k -> Maeterlinck
perl-WWW-Shorten.noarch: W: file-not-utf8 /usr/share/doc/perl-WWW-Shorten-3.02/L
ICENCE
perl-WWW-Shorten.noarch: E: incorrect-fsf-address /usr/share/doc/perl-WWW-Shorte
n-3.02/COPYING

I have opened CPAN issue #76312 about this, but I don't consider it fatal.

This is about the copyright symbols in it. I guess it's Latin1. You should convert it in your spec (in your %prep section, for example).

Indeed, this is okay.

Issues:
TODO: BuildRequire perl(base), perl(Carp)
TODO: Remove explicit perl dependency from BR
