If I do an install from a F17 beta RC4.1 livecd (desktop, x86_64) on a bare metal machine and that machine's system time is earlier than the livecd's creation time, I get fsck errors at the end of the install that halt the process and force me to reboot before the installation is actually complete. e2fsck is run before the live image is resized to fit the disk it's being installed to. If the system time is before the last mount time of the live image, e2fsck fails and the installation stops. I can produce logs if needed.

Tim: can you confirm whether this is fixed with current f17,f18,f19, whatever?

Interestingly enough, the F19 desktop livecd seems to be syncing time over network when a network connection is available. Not sure if the other spins are also doing this I did an install using F19 alpha RC4 x86_64 desktop live (the newest live image I had on hand) and a system clock that was 3 years off, install went fine - closing the bug
