Description Jiri Pospisil 2012-04-20 20:21:16 UTC
Description of problem:
In the virt-manager GUI, I am unable to create new virtual drive located outside default directory. I need to create a virtual drive bigger than free space on the root partition, which is impossible at the moment.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open virt-manager with some virtual machine set up
2. open the machine
3. view details
4. add hardware
5. create a disk image on the computer's hard drive

Actual results:
virt-manager doesn't ask for the location of the newly created drive

Expected results:
virt-manager asks for the location OR offers creation of new drive in different location if there is not enough free space in the default location

Additional info:

Comment 2 Giuseppe Scrivano 2013-11-19 10:20:38 UTC
if not specified differently, virt-manager uses the default storage. It is possible to specify another location where create disk images.
Closing it as NOTABUG. Please re-open if I am missing something.
