Additional info:

Comment 1 Raphael Jacquot 2003-01-14 20:47:00 UTC
ok, that's not the cause.
I get  4 warnings however
(anaconda:90): GnomeCanvas-CRITICAL **: file gnome-canvas-path-def.c: line 1142
(gnome_canvas_path_def_any_closed): assertion `path != NULL' failed

now, it seems it's not the canvas, but the X server crashing

Comment 2 Raphael Jacquot 2003-01-14 20:53:05 UTC
apparently, installing "everything" seems to cure the heiseibug... wierd

Comment 3 Raphael Jacquot 2003-01-14 21:21:15 UTC
...not!
I get the "installation ended unexpectedly", again

Comment 4 Michael Fulbright 2003-01-15 17:11:17 UTC
The error you are seeing is a warning that occurs even on successful installs.

Have you tested your media?
