Description of problem:
The latest rear release is dependent upon rpcbind and genisoimage which are not available in base/updates/epel for EL5.  Specifically, rpcbind is named portmap on EL5.

Steps to Reproduce:
# rpm -q rear
rear-1.12.0-1.el5.noarch

# cat /etc/redhat-release 
CentOS release 5.8 (Final)

# yum --noplugins update rear

rear-1.13.0-2.el5 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 5.

Package rear-1.13.0-2.el5:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 5 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing rear-1.13.0-2.el5'
as soon as you are able to.
