Description of problem: The systemd configuration file is calling transmission-daemon with options that prevent authentication from working for the RPC interface. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.50 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install transmission-daemon 2. Start it once to auto-generate the configuration files. 3. Stop transmission-daemon 4. Enable the rpc authentication options 5. Start transmission-daemon Actual results: The config file is overridden and the authentication to the rpc interface is disabled - accessing it from a browser allows access with no prompt for credentials. Expected results: To be prompted for credentials to access the web based RPC interface. Additional info: Removing the '-T' argument from the exec line in the systemd configuration file allows the settings.json to take effect and the expected behaviour to happen.
